Air Cooled Silent Gensets Manufacturer

A regular generator does the job – but the noise? That’s a whole other problem. Try running one inside a clinic, a school, or even a small office, and you’ll know what we mean. People can’t work, patients get disturbed, and neighbours start complaining. This is why more and more buyers are moving towards TMTL Genset, an air cooled silent gensets manufacturer. The acoustic canopy around the engine soaks up most of the noise, and what’s left is something you can easily ignore while going about your day.

At A Top Generators, we make air cooled silent gensets from 5 kVA to 35 kVA – all prime-rated, all built for regular daily use. If noise has been the reason you’ve been putting off buying a generator, this range is probably what you’ve been looking for.

If you’re looking for an open-frame solution instead, explore our Air Cooled Generator Set range designed for reliable everyday power backup.

Things That Actually Matter When You’re Buying One

People ask us a lot of questions before buying. Here’s what they end up caring about the most:

  • The noise really is lower – Not just on paper. Our air cooled silent TMTL Genset run at levels that are comfortable for offices, hotels, shops, and clinics. A normal open generator at full load can be painfully loud. These aren’t.
  • Air cooled means less maintenance – There’s no coolant to top up, no radiator to flush, no hoses to check for leaks. The engine cools itself through airflow and a fan. Less to manage, fewer things that go wrong.
  • 5 kVA to 35 kVA – all prime-rated – Prime-rated means these units are made for regular, extended use – not just for occasional emergency backup. If your generator runs daily, this matters a lot more than most people realise when buying.
  • The canopy protects more than just noise – It also keeps out dust, rain splash, and accidental contact. If your generator sits in a semi-open shed or near a walkway, that protection is genuinely useful day to day.
  • Fuel consumption is reasonable – We’ve built these to run efficiently. You won’t be shocked by the diesel bill at the end of the month, even with regular daily use.
  • Servicing doesn’t require dismantling everything – The canopy panels open up easily. A mechanic can do a full service without fighting the machine. That might sound small but it saves time and money every single service visit.
  • Single and three phase options available – Depending on your load type and what your premises require, we have both configurations across the range. Just ask us and we’ll confirm what suits your setup.

We also offer Single Phase AC Alternators and Three Phase AC Alternators to match different power distribution requirements.

Before You Order, Talk to Us Once

Picking the right kVA is where most people go wrong. They either undersize it – and the generator struggles under load and wears out faster – or they oversize it and end up paying for capacity they never use. Neither is a great outcome.

TMTL Genset has been making air cooled silent gensets long enough to know exactly what questions to ask. Tell us what you’re powering, how many hours a day, and whether it’s single or three phase – and we’ll tell you straight which model makes sense. No upselling, no confusion.

Our manufacturing facility is in Rajkot. Everything is made in-house, tested before dispatch, and backed by real after-sales support. Call us or drop an enquiry – whichever is easier.

Questions We Get Asked Often

Q1. How quiet are air cooled silent gensets really?

At about a metre away, most of our models run between 65 and 72 dB, depending on load. To put that in perspective, a normal conversation between two people is around 60 dB. So yes, you’ll hear it running, but it won’t drown out everything else in the room. For offices, shops, and clinics, that’s usually more than acceptable. Open generators at the same load can hit 90 dB or more, which is a big difference.

Q2. Is the canopy on air cooled silent gensets hard to maintain?

Not at all. The panels are designed to open without tools in most cases. Routine maintenance – oil change, air filter, fuel filter – is straightforward. The canopy doesn’t get in the way; it just sits around the engine and you open it when you need to. Most service technicians are comfortable working with these.

Q3. Who should go for air cooled silent gensets versus water cooled?

If your power requirement is 35 kVA or below and you want something that’s quiet, easy to maintain, and doesn’t need a complicated cooling setup – air cooled silent gensets are the better choice. Water cooled units make more sense when you go above 40 kVA and need the engine to handle heavier, longer continuous loads. For most small to mid-size businesses, the air cooled version covers everything they need without the added complexity.
